Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

Springfield Appointment Hours:

Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Leesburg Appointment Hours:

Thursdays 9:00 - 3:00 p.m.

After your visit, what role will your primary care veterinarian play?

After each visit a referral letter will be sent to your veterinarian detailing all clinical findings, laboratory test results, diagnoses and treatment recommendations.  Maintaining communication with your veterinarian is crucial in maintaining the highest level of care for your pet. Dr. Hansen is a veterinary dermatologist and only treats skin disease (including ears) and allergies. Therefore, your veterinarian will continue to your pet’s comprehensive veterinary care.

Emergency & Urgent Care

If your pet has an emergency and is need of immediate assistance, please contact your nearest emergency clinic.  There is an emergency and critical care department that is staffed 24/7 (even holidays) inside both facilities and fully equipped to handle any and all emergencies.  If going in for a dermatology problem, please note that they are separate companies from Dermatology and Allergy Services for Animals and do not have access to our records or medications.
